A scandal took place at Harvard University that had to do with cheating, and what professors and educators could do about stopping students from doing so. Professors from various universities asked many questions regarding the article and seemed interested in helping with the matter. â€Å"Is cheating getting worse?† Jaschik answers back with several things. They had done a study to test how many students were cheating in 2010 and shows declining in cheating. They planned to do more tests in 2012. Students try and justify that cheating is okay because it’s simply â€Å"the real world† and believe they can use Internet for anything because it’s faster and easier. Studies found that students that have time management issues are the ones doing most of the Internet using and cheating, but also they argue that while asked to do something for an employer, they don’t have enough time to come up with original work and need factual information so it makes it okay. The article also compares information to generations before. â€Å"†¦students do not appear to be less aware of moral implications associated with cheating, but have convinced themselves that what they are doing isn’t cheating†. Students came up with excuses and rationalized choices that made morals become invalid and convince themselves that there is no other choice. Colleges are now trying to find ways to better educate students so they don’t cheat. They came up with an honor code to build more of an ethical  community and culture throughout the University. Not all universities have jumped onto the Honor Code idea, but they are finding new codes everyday to help with the issue of cheating in colleges. Cheating in colleges is an issue all around the United States, and coming up with ways to prevent the issues is what the article is trying to do. If you ask an adult how was their childhood they might tell you thousands of different stories regarding their friends, the games they used to play, the lives they used to live and the simplicity of life they had. They might tell you about how they used to run through the neighborhoods with their friends, kill bugs, eat soil and â€Å"discover† new territories. They might tell you about the time the broke their arm when they fell off a tree they were climbing or how fun it was to swim at the lake with their friends. Now, if you ask a kid born on the new millennium, the new generation, he might give you a completely different scene f or what childhood is for him. For him, childhood might mean staying up late watching TV series regarding sex and drugs, or playing Play Station, X-Box or Wii for 5 or even 6 straight hours. They might also tell you about the time they accidentally found porn on the internet or when they were grounded for using obscene language that they previously had learned from a movie. Life as we used to know it has changed, drastically. This world has become a very hostile world, were advertisement owns the streets and all the means of communication. The kids of this new â€Å"technology† era are the ones who suffer the most with his hostility, and we have to do something about it. Later on in the platform is it also discussed that silver has had widespread acceptance as a coin for a very long time and by demonetizing it to increase the purchasing power of gold, the results are several negative consequences which will eventually lead to â€Å"terrible convulsions, the destruction of civilization, or the establishment of an absolute despotism.†This unhappiness of fa rmers regarding the money system in the United States is also shown in a political cartoon from The Farmers Voice, a Chicago newspaper in the late 1880's or early 1890's. The cartoon entitled â€Å"The Eastern Master and His Western Slaves† depicts farmers as slaves to the wealthy eastern businessmen. It is representing the exploitation of the farmers and shows yet another of their economic struggles; the mortgages they bore on their farms.Further evidence that supports and validates the farmers' complaints about the current economic situation is found in William McKinley's acceptance speech given in Canton, Ohio on August 26, 1896. Laughlin describes that the increase in supply without an increase of demand led farmers to believe that silver can solve their issues by his saying, â€Å"the sudden enlargement of the supply without any corresponding increase of demand produced that alarming fall in the price of wheat which has been made the farmer's excuse for thinking that silver is the magic panacea for all his ills†¦Ã¢â‚¬ He then goes on to describe that farmers have simply pushed the blame on the scarcity of gold as opposed to realizing the actual cause is their own overproduction of wheat. The effects of the different acts and laws regarding money supply is shown in the United States government data from 1961 depicting the population of the country along side the money in circulation from the year 1865 through 1895. High School and Health Service

As a highschool student I'm starting to set my goals for my future. Through my highschool years Im planning on taking the health service pathway as my elective. This core is for students who plan to pursue careers in the health service industry. For my sophomore year I'm planning on taking health service career pathway, this core will help me gain essential knowledge and skills about major body system and more. This can also help me learn to apply effective communication skills and technologies in the delivery of health care. For my junior year I'm also planning to take clinical health, this core will help me combiand information common to all healh careers.Lastly for my senior year I'm planning on taking medical biotechnology, this core will help me learn the different technique used in biotechnology and genetic engineering by hands-on laboratory training. I am also planing on setting up a schedule to be an intern for a doctor from Queens Medical Hospital. I could watch and intervie w him on what he does as a OBGYN, this could help me expierince and see how my future can turn out. This my highschool goals that can set me up for my real life goals. It cost $31,608 per year plus additional $670 for student fees, and also if I decide to dorm it, it would cost $2721 per year. To provide for my college funds and fees I can apply for finical aid. There's three types of financial aid, there's grants , loans, and scholarship.Grants is a financial award given by the government to an eligible stude nt. Loan is money you can borrow from the bank and you are responsisble to pay it back a year after you start working. Lastly, scholarship is an award of financial aid for a students who does well academically. I'm interested in receiving scholarship because I know I'm able to do good on my acedemics and that could provide me money to help me fund for my college. Im will start funding for my college by working part time jobs and applying for different types of scholarships and grants. This my last planning stage before I face the world and reality. This part is the hardest and the most fun stage,  reality.This is when everything I've work hard for is going to be worth it. This is the part where I work even harder and loving what I do. I'm going to be Dr. Renuma Elisha Arcega Reyes as OBGYN at the big hospital helping women shape the future and giving life to a beautiful individual. I'm also planning on opening up my own clinic where I can have a pediatrician across my office and a little play room for the kids. I want to help women take good care of their health as well as their offspring. I also wanted to buy my own two story house and buy my parents their own house. Now this is my plans for my future, the things that I want to have and achieve what I've work hard for.There's so much things in life that I want to achieve and discover.
